Jets Flying Out To See Aaron Rodgers and Things Are Moving Quickly

Things are moving quickly as the Jets are flying out to see Aaron Rodgers today. GM Joe Douglas and HC Robert Saleh are among the guys on the trip, per ESPN's Dan Graziano.

Things have progressed to the point where it feels like we will have a resolution within the next 24-48 hours. It seems unlikely that Rodgers would opt to retire after meeting with the Jets for multiple days, including having the team fly out all the way to California.

The Jets already lost out on Derek Carr but Rodgers was always their plan A. If they fail here, the drop off is major and will not be pretty.

The Jets have put a full court press to acquire Rodgers and they're looking like the clear favorites to land the hall of fame quarterback.

The Jets could have a new quarterback very soon.
