Jets select Wisconsin's Joe Tippmann in the second round || Initial Reaction

The Jets only had one pick on Day 2 of the NFL and they made it count.
The Jets selected Wisconsins's center Joe Tippmann with the 43rd pick.
"It’s also encouraging that Tippmann is far from a liability with his leverage. For his size, he’s surprisingly competent when it comes to acquiring proper pad level and playing beyond his center of gravity. Through that mechanism, he can channel power and effectively attack blocks in the trenches. If Tippmann continues to stack his growth from 2022, he has a near-dominant physical skill set."- Pro Football Network.
Many people around the league he is someone who could play center or guard and head coach Robert Saleh stated there will be a competition for the center position.
