There was the NFL Honors award this past Thursday and a few Jets names were in the running for it.

The first award won was for AP Offensive Rookie of the Year and the winner was wideout Garrett Wilson. He's the first player in Jets history to win this award. Wilson totaled for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns on the season.

The second award was won for AP Defensive Rookie of the Year and the winner was cornerback Sauce Gardner. Gardner was a Pro Bowler, First-Team All Pro, and now Defensive Rookie of the Year. What a remarkable rookie year for Gardner.

This is the third time in NFL history a team has won both offensive and defensive rookie of the year awards in the same season. Masterclass draft for the New York Jets.

Well it gets better.

The New York Jets have two former players inducted to the NFL Hall of Fame as they head to Canton. Darrelle Revis and Joe Klecko have been selected to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame, one of the two best defensive players to put a Jets uniform on.

What A Night For the New York Jets!
