Update on Buzz of Aaron Rodgers to the Jets possibility?

Things are ramping up for the New York Jets as they are determined to find a veteran quarterback this offseason and all eyes are going at once specific name currently.
That name is Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers did his weekly spot on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, and initially said that he has not made the decision as to whether he will return for a 19th NFL season.
“It sounds like there’s already conversations going on that aren’t involving me. That’s very interesting,” Rodgers said. “Honestly, I’ve been insulated to a lot of that. I was in Nashville [visiting Randall Cobb and David Bakhtiari] and I’ll be up here [at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am] this week playing in the tournament. So, I’m not a part of those conversations right now. When I make up my mind one way or the other, you guys and the Packers and everyone else will know at some point.”
People are starting to link Rodgers to the Jets because the Jets just hired Nathaniel Hackett, the ex-Packers offensive coordinator, to the same position. Rodgers obviously loves Hackett and he made it known on Tuesday that this is true.
“Love Hack. Hack is my guy. Love him and Megan and the kids,” Rodgers said. “They’re really special to me. We really bonded when he was in Green Bay. He made it fun. He made the room fun. He made the weeks fun.”
There is a lot of speculation on what the Jets will do but people in the NFL believe Jets will be after one of the big dogs that are going to available either via trade or in free agency. Rodgers seems to be at the top list followed by Derek Carr.
The next few weeks should ramp up what this team is deciding to do with the quarterback position.
